VFX

VFX (Visual Effects) are digital techniques used to create or enhance scenes in movies, TV shows, and games. They make impossible or imaginary visuals look realistic.

Course Summery

The Visual Effects (VFX) course is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the art and technology of creating realistic and imaginative visual effects for films, television, advertisements, web content, and video games. The course covers the complete VFX production pipeline, from pre-production planning to final compositing and rendering, helping students understand both the creative and technical aspects of the industry. Students begin by learning the fundamentals of digital graphics, image editing, color theory, and animation principles. As the course progresses, they gain hands-on experience with industry-standard VFX software to create motion graphics, green screen compositions, camera tracking, rotoscoping, matte painting, particle effects, 3D integration, lighting, rendering, and advanced compositing techniques. They also learn how to remove unwanted objects, replace backgrounds, create realistic explosions, smoke, fire, rain, and other cinematic effects. The course emphasizes practical learning through real-world projects, allowing students to build a professional portfolio that demonstrates their creativity and technical skills. They are introduced to workflow management, project planning, teamwork, and industry best practices used in professional VFX studios. In addition, students develop problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of visual storytelling, which are essential for producing high-quality visual effects. By the end of the course, students will have the confidence and expertise to work on a variety of VFX projects for the entertainment and media industries. They will be prepared for entry-level and advanced roles such as VFX Artist, Compositor, Roto Artist, Matchmove Artist, Motion Graphics Designer, Lighting Artist, FX Artist, and CGI Artist. The course also provides a strong foundation for freelancing, entrepreneurship, or further specialization in advanced visual effects and animation.

Course Detail

VFX Portfolio Development

VFX Showreel Creation

Build an industry-ready VFX showreel featuring matte painting (environment extension, digital landscapes), particle effects (fire, smoke, rain, explosions), camera tracking (stabilization, perspective match), color correction (grading, tone matching), and before/after breakdowns.

VFX Showreel Creation

Develop a high-quality VFX portfolio with digital compositing (multi-layer compositing, blending modes), wire removal (object cleanup, rig removal), 3D integration (CG assets in live action), environment creation (set extension, sky replacement), simulation effects (fluids, dust, debris), and cinematic shot breakdowns.
